Who are the Exploring Vocation: Offering for Ministry Days for?
They are for all those considering whether God may be calling them to lay or ordained ministry in the Methodist Church.

What are we aiming for in these days?
We aim to provide an informative, reflective, prayerful and encouraging day which enables participants to move on to the next steps appropriate to their journey of vocational discernment.

Our Objectives?
  • To reflect with others on the calling of God in general
  • To learn more about the different ministries that exist in the Methodist Church
  • To meet presbyters, deacons & lay people who have come to their particular role in recent times & learn from their diverse experiences
  • To identify and discover more about the various routes for further learning and exploration
  • For those considering ordained ministry this includes detailed information about the candidating process
  • To enable sharing, mutual encouragement and worship as all reflect on the ongoing, lifelong task of discerning God’s will and purpose for our lives.
