Bradford North Circuit

A t Northcliffe church , Shipley, a recently formed ecumenical partnership (URC & Methodist) and as a “new” church we are seeking to establish a regular worship event for people with learning disability, their families and friends. Together with Shipley Christians together we are right at the start of seeking an answer to this calling. So far the response has been overwhelmingly supportive and it seems there is a need and desire for this to bear fruit. On Thursday February 9 th at 7.30pm, at Northcliffe Church, (formerly Hall Royd Methodist) we are meeting to find out who is interested in being part of this adventure and how they might be able to contribute. This is an open meeting and anyone is welcome to come and share ideas and experiences and needs. Please come to the meeting if you can and bring along anyone you feel might want to help.

Do you know your Olympic sports and sports people? Come along for an evening of fun and food the day before the Olympic Torch comes into the District - Saturday 23rd June 2012 at 7.00 pm at the Shay Stadium, Halifax. The cost is £3.00 per person with teams of up to six people. Don't worry if you can't get a full team, or if you come with a friend we can make teams up on the evening. There will be a Pie Supper included in the price. You will need to book for this event as there is a limit on places available. We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Rev George Hesling, Supernumery Minister of the former Woodhouse Grove Circuit.  The funeral service is at 12.30 pm on Thursday 5 January 2012 at Wibsey Methodist Church .
