AtNorthcliffe church, Shipley, a recently formed
ecumenical partnership (URC & Methodist) and as a “new” church we are
seeking to establish a regular worship event for people with learning
disability, their families and friends.
Together with Shipley Christians together we are right at the start of seeking an answer to this calling.
So far the response has been overwhelmingly supportive and it seems there is a need and desire for this to bear fruit.
On Thursday February 9th at 7.30pm, at Northcliffe Church, (formerly Hall Royd Methodist) we are meeting to find out who is interested in being part of this adventure and how they might be able to contribute.
This is an open meeting and anyone is welcome to come and share ideas and experiences and needs. Please come to the meeting if you can and bring along anyone you feel might want to help.
