Stewards Together

An opportunity to meet with other church stewards across Bradford North, and share and learn about the roles and responsibilites of church stewards. Led by Rev. We are a Fairtrade District

The West Yorkshire Methodist District is now a Fairtrade district. It has received national certification from the Fairtrade foundation. This means that 50% of our churches are now Fairtrade certified. 7 million people in 59 countries now benefit from Fairtrade. More details . Thank you for your continuing support.

An Evening with Glenda

Glenda Howieson, founder of Phakamisa will be speaking at Baildon Methodist Church on 24 April 2010 at 6.00 pm. Phakamisa is a ministry of the Pinetown Methodist Church in Durban, South Africa and provides education adn support to 20,000 children. The event will also include a meal. The Mission Unit hopes that the support given to Phakamisa by the former Shipley & Bingley circuit can continue and develop as we move forward as Bradford North. For tickets, please contact the circuit office. Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for children.

We are All Easter People!

Following the successful Saturday evening get-togethers in autumn with Simeon Wood and Paul Field, St Andrew's is hoping to draw another large congregation from the circuit for a time of Praise and Worship on Saturday evening 17 April 2010 beginning at 7.30 pm. We will be two weeks into the Easter season and our risen Lord in a large gathering with worship led by musicians and singers, testimonies and a challenging gospel message from our guest preacher, Rev Paul Welch of Halifax. There will be no charge for admission and refreshments will be served. Book the date in your diary and tell your friends!
